Hello Buglers,
I just wanted to put out this reminder... If you use an email program that has a Spam block tool which only allows incoming messages from senders you've approved beforehand... please make sure that BAA is in that "approved" category. Most of the emails that would be coming to you would be from  This is how you receive any emails and requests from BAA. It is not our obligation to submit to be approved from every single email we get returned to us wanting approval. Earthlink users... We get them mostly from you. You can keep your Spam filter.. but please update your settings to accept us. Thank you.

This is what the BAA float will look like in the Chicago Memorial Day Parade on May 26.   Those who volunteered to ride and march need to be at Daley Center by 10 am!

Hello Buglers,
I am looking for as many buglers as possible to play Echo Taps at the Veterans Echo Taps & Flag Decoration in Grand Rapids, MI.

This annual event will be on May 23rd, 2012 and located at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans at 3000 Monroe Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49505.   The event starts at 5, if anyone wants food (hot dogs etc. are free).  Otherwise Buglers should arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. and we will be meeting in the cemetery at the top of the hill near the statue.

I am hoping to have as many buglers as possible at this event. Please contact me directly to register 616-915-3658 /

Hello Buglers!
I'm just re-posting this event as a reminder since this is coming up!  It sounds like a very cool evening!
Just letting you know about a concert Saturday May 19th in Schenectady, NY, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the composition of Taps by General Daniel Butterfield, Union College Class of 1849. 15-piece brass band led by military historian, ceremonial brass player and conductor Jari Villanueva.

It will be held at Union College Memorial Chapel at 9pm. Fireworks on the lawn at 10:00 p.m.
